RMX IP 쉽게 설정.

 

RMX 를 테스트나 POC를 할 때 예전에 사용하던 IP를 분실하여 확인이 힘들시 아래 방법을 이용해 보시면 좋을 것 같습니다. Admin guide 에도 나와 있는 내용이니 부족한 부분은 RMX admin guide를 참조하시기 바랍니다.

 

RMX에는Alternate Management Network라는 것이 있습니다.

The Alternate Management Network enables direct access to the Collaboration Server (RMX) 1500/2000/4000) for support purposes.

While being separate from all other networks, it has identical functionality to the Management Network.

Support personnel can log in and use it to manage the Collaboration Server if a connection to the

Management Network cannot be made or if internet access to the host network is blocked by LAN security or a firewall.

The Alternate Management Network cannot be configured and operates according to factory defaults.

The administrator's Login name, Password, viewing and system permissions on the Alternate Management

Network are the same as those on the Management Network.

Once logged in, the RP Collaboration Server Web Client behaves as if the administrator had logged in on the Management Network.

Overview

RMX의 특정포트는Alternate Management Network으로 할당되어 있다. 미리 지정된 IP를 이용하여 RMX 관리 페이지로 접근이 가능하다. 일단 접근하면 모든 IP설정을 할 수 있기 때문에 IP를 변경 후 실망에 연결하여 사용 할 수 있다.

1. PC에 IP 설정 – 아래와 같이 미리 지정된Alternate Management Network IP인 169.254.192.10 에 접근하기 위해 같은 대역 IP를 PC에 설정한다.

2. Cable 연결 – PC와 RMX의Alternate Management Network Port 에 UTP cable을 연결한다.

3. RMX에 접속 – RMX Manager를 통해 장비에 접속
